Hydrogen Economy

Green Hydrogen can be produced from various renewable energy sources like Wind, Biomass, Hydro, Solar or combinations of them. The two major types of electrolysers used for hydrogen production are Polymer Electrolyte Membrane (PEM) and Alkaline Electrolysers. A PEM electrolyser depends on ionically conductive solid polymer. When a potential voltage difference is applied between the two electrodes, negatively charged Oxygen in the water molecules give up their electron at the anode to make protons, electrons, and O2 at the anode. The H+ ions travel through the proton-conducting polymer towards the cathode where they take on an electron and become neutral H atoms, which combines to make hydrogen at the cathode. The electrolyte and electrodes are sandwiched between two bipolar plates, which, is used to transfer water to the plates, transfer product gases away from the cell, conduct electricity, and circulate a coolant fluid to cool down the process. We can conduct detailed Life Cycle Assessment study to reduce GHG Emissions for your business process. We can propose a feasibility study for Solar Coupled Hydrogen Fueling Stations (SCHFS) with electrolytic hydrogen generation and storage, modeling and sizing, strategic dispensing station location, possible GHG emission reduction, financial investment, and risk mitigations.
